I recalled that there was Japan’s occupational government office in this palace when I first visited Seoul
in early 90s and was explained that the position of its office had hurt Korean
s because it blocked original concept of palace. A friend of mine said that the architecture of the office was valued and it should have been preserved; however, the position office could not be accepted.
Though the palace is very big, I took photos of palace from rooftop of accommodation
instead of visiting there. It is said that the area, Gwanbuk
is tightly regulated constructions’ height for preserving historical scenery. It is said that not many people happy to live or own property there. 경복궁 서울시 종로구 세종로 1번지 56
